Sci-fi VX9 Plasma Rifle PBR

I’m super excited to finally share my personal project - the VX9 Plasma Rifle.
This is a game-ready, low-poly PBR asset built for seamless use in any game engine. The model features three materials and includes three 4K texture sets.

My main focus while designing this weapon was crafting a strong, eye-catching silhouette from front to back. I also pushed myself with the smooth transitions around the central battery section, definitely a fun challenge.

For the workflow, I used 3ds Max for modeling, Blender for unwrapping, and Substance Painter for baking and texturing. Rendering was done using both V-Ray and Cycles, and honestly, both engines delivered some seriously stunning results.
Curious to see if you can tell them apart, which renders are from Cycles, and which are from V-Ray?

Let me know what you think. Thanks for checking it out!
